We had our wedding at LeGourmet. Found it on the Internet with other potential venues, but from the moment we stepped in the cosy restaurant, we knew it was the place for us. Barbara is a delightful hostess, one of those rare hosts you could talk to for hours because she's so interesting. She helped us enormously in preparing menus and schedules for the event. We were married at the Conservatory at the Fitzroy Gardens, then everyone had just a short walk to the restaurant. It was so convenient! All the guests have told us they adored the food, loved the warm atmosphere and the service was friendly and fantastic. In fact, we've had a few people tell us it was one of the best weddings they've ever been to! And we had a fantastic time as well because we didn't have to worry about a thing - LeGourmet had it all in hand. Congratulations and thanks very much Barbara, Eric and the staff at LeGourmet. We had our wedding reception at Le Gourmet. The service that we received from booking stage right through to the end of the night was superb. Nothing was too much trouble for Erich, the food was delightful and service was excellent. I would highly recommend Le Gourmet for your next special function. Thanks again Erich

We had the most beautiful Wedding at Le Gourmet. Everything was first class. The Restaurant is elegant with a homely feel, the food was really superb, even the canapes were the best I've ever had. The tables were set perfectly and the chairs are really comfy. Eric and his staff were so proffessional with the perfect dispostion I thought was lost in the service industry. Eric was so easy to deal with, nothing was a problem. He really created a very relaxed atmosphere around the finest of dinning. That's excellence. I highly recommend it. Thank you Eric it was the happiest day of my life.

This would have to be one of the best, actually it is the best, dining experiences ever in Melbourne. My husband and I took an elderly friend there and from booking to walking out the door we were looked after thoughtfully. The restaurant is beautifully laid out, service is excellent and the menu is lovely. A wonderful place to go. We will definitely be returning.

Great food, great service, great wine. Perhaps they could have more wine by the glass, but that is probably a function of the number of tables booked, and when we went (Sat 28 Feb) it was quiet - only about five tables occupied. Particularly enjoyed the crab soufflé entree.

My parents invited me and my friends for my birthday dinner to Le Gourmet, I immediately felt comfortable in what looked to me the elegant European environment.The service was very friendly and patient on their explaination of the menu. All of us loved the food, especially the duck and the souflee. I hope my parents will bring me back to this restaurant soon. Thank you for a great night.
