George Georgiadis who is the proprietor and chef has been in the restaurant industry for the past 30 years. With an open kitchen, the food is guaranteed fresh and cooked on the spot. The open fire place adds great warmth and a cozy atmosphere. Our bar consists of Australian, Greek and International wines and is also BYO for those who enjoy their own special drop.
Georges Greek Tavern is well known for their home made bread and dips which are still made daily in the Greek traditional way. Meat lovers cannot go past the aroma of the lamb on the spit or the wide range of meats which are chargrilled. There is also a wide range of seafood which is displayed in the open barmarine, including King Prawns, scallops, schnapper, and other. Hot dishes are also available.
